KYOKUYAMA DOJO PORT ST. LUCIE BRANCH has participated in the 2 nd annual open tournament of the INTERNATIONAL KYOKUYAMA KARATE-DO ORGANIZATION held in Miami on Sunday June 28, 2009.

The event took place at the Miami Fight Club and started with Katas (Forms) Competion for Kids from 5 years old to 16 years old and ALL BELTS followed by Tatami Full Contact Kumite (fights) for Kids, Tatami Full Contact Kumite (fights) for Adults and they closed the event with Ring Full Contact Kumite (fights) Adults only.

Competitors arrived from Canada, Costa Rica, Poland, Lithuania, New York, Saint Petersburg, Tampa, Homestead, Lantana, Port St. Lucie and several other places.

KYOKUYAMA DOJO Students had a wonderful performance and all their hard work paid off at the end, we are very proud to say that they were awarded with the following:
