On Saturday, June 17 th, Master Fred LaSala took 6 students and their family members to Clearwater, Florida to compete in the 2 nd Annual Warrior Extravaganza Karate Tournament.
The students who competed are listed below:
- Sensei Brett LaSala of Port St. Lucie age 22 placed first in 18-29 Black Belt points sparring.
- Sensei Stacey LaSala, of WhiteCity, age 15, placed first in 14-17 advanced self- defense and first in 14-15 Black belt girl's points sparring.
- Joey Boyer of Ft Pierce, age 14, placed third in 14-15 advanced boys points sparring.
- Ralph Jhon placed of Ft. Pierce, age 12, placed 1 st in 12-13 Beginner boys points sparring, first in 12-13 Beginner self- defense and third in 12-13 Beginner boys kata
- Jinsly Jhon of Ft Pierce, age 10, placed first in 10-11 Beginner self- defense and second in 10-11 Beginner boy's points sparring.
- The tournament promoter created a Master's Division so
Master Fred LaSala could compete along with the other Karate Masters at the tournament. He placed second in the Masters division points sparring.
- Sensei Chris LaSala and
Sensei Tom Evans were awarded first place in coaching.
The students that competed attend Master LaSala's Karate Schools located at Common Ground in Ft.Pierce and Save our Children in Ft Pierce. He has other classes held at both HighpointCommunityChurch in PSL and TreasureCoastChristianAcademy in Port St Lucie.
