Lambs Artistic Expressions
Contributed by: Christopher Edgecombe on 6/27/2007

Being Productive, learning to use one's time and energy wisely, in order to construct something positive is what the Feed the Lambs Enrichment Program tries to install into each and every one of their kids. What better way to spend your time then finding cool ways to conduct projects through arts and crafts? Through arts and crafts, this program allows students the opportunity to express themselves more freely without the judgment of their peers." Through arts and crafts, we, the staff get a more personal perspective of each child through the way they express themselves in their work," says one of the camp counselors, Lashawa Cosby, "we encourage our kids to use their own creative styles and ideas." During the first week, students designed Father's day cards, which contain a self portrait of themselves, along with a personal message addressed to their fathers, followed by sun-visors, in which every student designed using their own artistic creativity, and the most recent project, which was a long stretch into the 60's with tye-dye t-shirts.
