GYAC Collects School Supplies for Local Youth

As one school year comes to a close the Gifford Youth Activity Center is gearing up for the next! Taking into account the current economic situation the Center will collect School supplies all summer to help local youth get the 2008 school year off to a good start this fall. This year the Center has "drop boxes" available for all local businesses willing to place one at their locations.

School supplies...everything from paper & pencils to backpacks & calculators...are needed. The Gifford Youth Activity Center welcomes donations from individuals and local businesses. Please bring school supplies or your tax deductible cash donation to Gifford Youth Activity Center, 4875 43rd Avenue in Vero Beach any weekday between 8am-5pm.

The items will be distributed to local youth during the Back to School Bash to be held the first weekend in August. For additional information please call Freddie L. Woolfork, 772-794-1005x34.
