With gas prices on the rise, attending doctors' appointments can be very costly and cause a burden on already tight budgets. Both Mid-Florida Radiation Oncology Associates and Green Day Medical Oncology and Hematology are helping their patients with the cost of gas by offering courtesy transportation. With a staff of friendly drivers and a garage full of hybrid cars, patients are personally picked up at their house and taken to their appointment and then returned home after receiving treatment. The free transportation is offered to patients living on the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas, (as far North as Vero Beach/Sebastian, as South as Stuart/Hobe Sound, and West as Lake Okeechobee/Seabring). For the patients who are able to drive themselves, mileage reimbursement is also offered to offset the price of fuel.

Dr. Ronald Woody, Dr. David Harter, and Dr. Alan Krimsley are the Radiation Oncology doctors who form Mid-Florida Radiation Oncology Associates. All three physicians are Board Certified and have been treating cancer patients on the Treasure Coast for over ten years. Dr. Ricardo Quintero is the Medical Oncologist and Hematologist of Green Day who, along with providing chemotherapy to cancer patients also treats patients with anemia and other blood disorders.
