Being in my profession I get asked the same question time and time again.
How can you work in the pet cremation business and deal with death all the time?
My one answer is, I work with the living.
So many times animal lovers can be looked upon as silly for grieving the loss of a beloved pet.
Yet the simple truth is they are so much more than just pets, they are a part of our family and everyday lives.
For so many of us the loss of a beloved pet is the same as the loss of a loved one.
Yet just as when any living thing leaves this life for the next there is still that pain and loss.
Caring for our clients and understanding that grief and loss is what a real profession truly is.
Sadly there is nothing we can do to help all of our clients beloved pets that have passed on.
Yet there is so much we do to help people through a hard time.
For me that is what my company is all about, helping our clients.
So whenever anyone looks upon my profession as simply dealing with death...............................
I remember my clients each and everyone of them.
I remember that I serve my community and always do a caring job.
I remember that I treated all of my clients beloved pets just as I would expect my own pets to be treated.
But the most important thing I remember is that we treated all of our CLIENTS as we would wish to be treated during such a sad time.
Is my profession a very sad one, yes.
Still I would not trade it for any other profession in the world.
As there is no feeling better than the feeling of knowing you truly help people.
