Champagne Bubbles fill Molly's Gallery

Stuart, FL - Molly's Gallery will open the season on Thursday, November 5, 2009 with a Champagne Reception for photographer Leo Arbeznik and artist Shawna Scarpitti.

Internationally represented, Leo J. Arbeznik is the owner and photographer of Images in Paradise LLC. His studio is located in Hobe Sound. His award winning images and timeless portraits hang on many walls world-wide. Leo features local scenes in many of his photographs. Leo is active in the Hobe Sound Chamber.

Artist Shawna Scarpitti says her conscious creation is her art. Her images narrate unique aspects of her life and reveal emotional, abstract responses to life. The art often evokes emotion ~ leaving viewers to imagine and create their own personal meanings. The art is very much about layers, colors, found and saved objects, texture, journal imagery, photography, and bringing into play wide ranges of media. Just as the very process of creating juiced her when she was two years old, it still enlivens her to no end!!! "Making art completely fills my HEART," stated Shawna.

The Champagne Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Molly's Gallery, located at 430 SE Osceola Street, Stuart. The reception is free and open to the public. Artist Deloris Kuhl will be selling her creative "angels" during the event to benefit Molly's House. She will demonstrate her work during the event. The event will also include live music by keyboardist Barbara Gomulka and light hors d'eourves.

Molly's House will also announce the winner of the Doll House during the event. Molly's House calendars will be on sale for a $10 donation. The calendar photos were taken by photographer Kevin Boldenow.
