"Bubbles" hits the road!

You may have already "HONKED!" , as this creatively painted vehicle proclaims, when you saw "Bubbles" the SeaTails-Mobile on the roads of South Florida! On January 28th, 2008 a vintage 1972 milk delivery truck was re-born as "Bubbles" the SeaTails-Mobile! Even though"Bubbles" is only 6 feet wide she will be hard to miss on the road! The SeaTails marketing and general transportation vehicle is the brainchild of Sean Kelley, a co-owner/co-founder of SeaTails, LLC. Sean not only created all the amazing illustrations in the popular SeaTails adventure series of children's books, he gave "Bubbles" it's current make-over. Kelley hand painted the entire aluminum vehicle from head to toe! "THAT was the easy part", Sean said, "I also rebuilt everything you CAN'T see from the ground up! New wiring, new brakes & brake lines, exhaust, tires, radiator, dash board & guages,lights, and too many engine parts to remember! It might be the only 36 year old vehicle with state of the art L.E.D. lights on our roads!" Kelley has owned this relic for many years but it was "retired" to a field in Canada as a firewood storage unit! As the more utilitarian milk delivery vehicle in the '70's it didn't have the happy and upbeat "Bubbles" name. "The SeaTails adventure series of children's books has such wholesome, happy, upbeat, non-violent messages that "Bubbles" just seemed the perfect name", Kelley said. "Bubbles" will be used to transport Sean and his business partners & friends, Sheriee Dardis, author of the series and Tim Dardis, publisher, to events throughout the country. Locally you will see "Bubbles" on the road and parked in front of many schools, libraries, parks and even hospitals where Kelley does an entertaining and educational presentation for kids from Pre-K through about 5th grade. "Bubbles" currently splits her home town parking places between Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, Florida.
