The ARC " Bringing Hope Ashore " Holiday Fashion Gala

Catch the wave of excitement and the glamour and sparkle of holiday fashions at the premiere of "Bringing Hope Ashore" Holiday Fashion Gala, on November 9 at Mariner Sands Country Club.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit the children and adults with developmental disabilities assisted by the ARC of Martin County.

Anne Schafer, the tireless volunteer, is the fashion show director and promises a spectacular evening for all. Caché, the chic women's clothing store in the Treasure Coast Mall, is pulling out all the best fashions for this holiday-themed runway show. The 30 minute fashion show will be top-notch; the runway models will be dressed in outfits ranging from casual to evening wear. Professional commentary and upbeat music by Avenue Entertainment will complement the fashions.

Doors will open at 6 pm for the one-hour cocktail hour and bidding will begin on the silent auction. Guests will be able to do some holiday shopping and proceeds will benefit the ARC of Martin County. You can bet on finding a special item to put under the tree.

John Saundry, the executive chef at Mariner Sands, always presents a wonderful, gourmet meal and guests will not be disappointed by the menu he will prepare.

Guests will also enjoy a special performance by the Friends Choir and other special entertainers. The ladies will also enjoy the presence of Jay Spicer of Coast 101.3 FM, the fun-loving restaurant owner Harry MacArthur, Sheriff Robert Crowder and Gary Jamison, hospitality expert/ model. Tom McNicholas, public relations professional, will also be a
part of the local celebrities on hand.

Committee members are Anne Schafer, Ken DeAngeles, Shari Miller, Carol Bobo, Judy Coffman, Laura Lee Peppler, Lynn Mozena, Leslie Mandody, Teresa Stevenson, Marty Grivjack and Roseanne Hernandez and Kathryn Treadwell.

Tickets for the evening are $100 per person or $150 per pair. Cocktail attire is suggested. For further information or to purchase tickets phone 772-283-2525 or www.arcmc.org.

The most important reason for this premier event will be to raise money for the ARC (Advocates of the Rights of the Challenged), the premier Treasure Coast Agency dedicated to helping children and adults with developmental disabilities to improve their quality of life through affordable housing, education, awareness, job training, behavioral therapy and other related healthcare and support services.
