STUART, Florida/August 6, 2007 - The American Red Cross Martin County Chapter's 20th Red Cross Ball will feature good fortune for everyone who attends the annual fundraising event. "This year, for our 20th anniversary, everything about the Ball will have an Asian theme," said Mary Sawyer, Executive Director, American Red Cross Martin County Chapter. "We bringing a new, fun, and exciting event to the Martin County social scene," added Sawyer.
Once again this year, the Red Cross Ball will be held at Willoughby Golf Club in Stuart. "We are expecting more than 200 attendees. Since this will be a new and unique approach to the Ball, we anticipate the event will quickly be sold out," added Sawyer. The Red Cross Ball will also feature new and exciting items in keeping with the Asian theme. "We will have a sushi bar, an Asian style meal, and a very surprising twist to the entertainment," said Sawyer. The 20th edition of the Red Cross Ball will be held on Saturday evening, December 1.
Ball festivities include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres' followed by a delectable Asian meal, a silent auction, live auction, and dancing throughout the evening. Sponsorships for the social event of the year are available by contacting Mary Jones, Special Events Coordinator at (772) 287-2002.
