Month.....Celebrate Children's Mental Well-Being!!
The Daniel M. Foundation will kick off Children's Mental Health
Week - May 7
th-13
th, with the Green Ribbon Fiesta' Cocktail
Reception and Silent Auction to be held at the Fort Pierce Yacht
Club April 29
th, 2006. Renowned Paraguayan Harpist, Marcos Vega will
be the featured entertainer for the South American themed event.
New England Seafood will serve up South American treats and a South
American Wine Tasting will be offered. This event is to promote
awareness for the importance of children's mental health by
featuring works of art that the community school children,
kindergarten to 8
th grade have created. Support this important event
and join us for exotic music, foods and wine, bid on silent auction
items and cast your ballot for the winner of the "People's Choice
Award" in the children's art contest. Tickets are $75.00 and can be

Our second event will be held on May 6
th, with the Second Annual Kidz A' Fair Children's Art
Fest at Lawnwood Stadium between the hours of 10am and 4pm. During
this free event, young and old alike are treated to a fun-filled
day of art, music and entertainment. Children of all ages partake
in an array of experiences that inspire laughter and expression of
their ideas, dreams and fantasies. There will be an extensive
children's fun area and other creations for the children to utilize
their physical prowess and energy. For the more adventurous, there
will be four bands, The Clean Dirt Band, Storm Riders (sponsored by
Long Branch Saloon), Cavefish and a surprise guest. While feasting
their ears, they can wonder through the stunning motorcycle show
sponsored by Out of Control Custom Cycles and the Classic Cars
rallied together by Gweed's Gangsters and Friends, plus many more
exciting surprises.
