DON'T HAVE THE LUCK OF THE IRISH??................
Contributed by: Terry Barth, FSO-PA on 2/25/2008

Then you need to take a Boating Safety Course!

Don't count on luck to keep you, your family and friends safe on the water. Attend one of our courses and learn the information you need to help make you a better boater!

Flotilla 58 will be offering this one-day course on March 15th from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm at the Coast Guard Auxiliary Building at 1400 Seaway Drive in Fort Pierce.

This course is a "must do" for the new boater and an excellent refresher for experienced boaters. Even if you are just a passenger or "part of the crew", you will learn valuable information that will enhance your boating experience. You'll learn waterway signs and markings, basic navigation, Federal and State regulations, boating in adverse conditions, what to do in an emergency and much, much more.

This Boating Safety Course is State approved for those 21 and under to receive their Florida State Boater ID card. Also, check with your insurance company - some give a discount if you complete and pass this course.

Send $36 to register ($10 each for additional family members) to:
