Former Indian River Community College Coach and former Director of Indian River Volleyball Academy Ron Jacobs would like to announce the creation on Sunrise Volleyball Academy. Sunrise Volleyball Academy is a non-profit affiliation of the Amateur Athletic Union. The goals set forth by Ron Jacobs last year are the same, Increase the level of play throughout the Treasure Coast and provide an opportunity for all student athletes ages 10-18 to play volleyball.

A website has been created to distribute more information. The site is http://eteamz.active.com/sunrisevolleyballacademy/. All upcoming dates and forms can be found in the handouts section of the site. Informational meetings will be held at the Fort Pierce Central Lecture Hall at 7 p.m. on Nov. 6 th and 13 th. Tryouts will be held at the Fort Pierce Central gymnasium on Nov. 18 th. The times for try-outs will depend on the age of the athlete.
