Come out and meet with us to put our "Adopted Beach" sign back up on the BEACH in Ft Pierce!!
This Sunday June 11th from 6-8pm ..
Meet at theSurfside Beach, A1A Ft Pierce. Surfside was Adopted by O.N.E.W.I.L.D.W.O.R.L.D. Volunteers a few years ago ..we were Awarded by the SLC County, City of Ft Pierce,SLC Conservation Alliance and NOAA with a sign for our outreach and beach clean up efforts, however, our "sign" has been down since hurricanes of 2004...
We need your help to put it back up on the beach
and your support for our efforts and outreach for cleaner beaches & waterways for our communities of the Treasure Coast of Florida and the Global World Ocean!!
You to can Adopt A Beach! Come out and meet us,
Enjoy some refreshments, the evening sunset at the beach, meet others WHO ALSO CARE about our World Oceans, rivers, beaches and wildlife ...
We are also supportive of WORLD OCEAN DAY (
www.WorldOceanDay.org) whichJune 8th is the day each year recognized by the World as Ocean Day ...we hope to help inspire a new generation of people in our communities to also beCARE more about our world ocean and resources too..
So, come out and sign the World Ocean Day petition,bring your friends, meet friends (and if you helped with the clean up held April 30th and didnt get your certificate, we will have it for you to pick up at the beach)

Go over the Bridge at Seaway Drive in Ft Pierce, head East to the beach, (dead ends at the inlet)make a right onto A1A and go about 1/4 mile to Surfside Beach( left hand side on the beach)
