Saturday, February 2
Mardi Gras Parade & Celebration -2pm - The traditional Mardi Gras Parade winding through the streets of historic downtown Fort Pierce will kick-off the Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Society's Jazz Week 2008 on Saturday, February 2. The parade will conclude at Fort Pierce Community, 600 Indian River Dr. where a huge Mardi Gras Celebration begins at 6pm. The community is invited to this free celebration featuring entertainment by Coffee Beans, Matrix, FPJBS Ensemble, and Bobby & the Blisters. It is certain to be a fun-filled day for the whole family!

Road to Financial Freedom - New Hope Baptist Church invites you to an exciting 4-week journey...learn what God has to say about money, the condition of the heart and how to get your finances under control. It's a New Day...how will you spend it? 15th Annual Missions Convention - 8:15am & 10:45am - Dr. Tonya Hawthorne, founder of New Frontiers Health Force will be the featured guest speaker. New Frontiers Health Force takes primary care medical teams on a short-term basis to underdeveloped nations; the majority of the places teams are sent have little to no health care available. They have participated in disaster relief around the globe, given away millions of dollars of medications and hygiene supplies, and offered hope to thousands of hurting people.
