Habitat for Humanity with Picasso...a very special art auction - 6:30pm preview; 7:30pm auction - the community is invited to Habitat for Humanity with Picasso at the First Presbyterian Church of Port St. Lucie. This very special art auction is being held to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. EKG, The Heartbeat of God, a six-week pastor-led strategy - This program provides a framework for what it means to be God's people in God's Kingdom; it can help bring revival to a community and create evangelism opportunities. "The Power in Me" 2008 Youth Summit - 10am-4pm - Local youth ages 13-18 years involved with youth organizations in Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River Counties are invited to "The Power in Me", the 2008 Youth Summit. This year's event will be held at the Fort Pierce campus of IRCC on Virginia Avenue. The keynote speaker, Mr. Jonathan Sprinkles, 2006 College Speaker of the Year, "sprinkles" elements of wisdom and humor to create a learning environment that is light-hearted yet purpose-filled. In his talks, Jonathan provides the "wow" that keeps audiences on the edge of their seat. The 2008 Summit will include a Career Fair, Youth Q&A Panel, workshops, entertainment and lunch. Admission is free; advance registration by 2/22 is requested. Please note that all youth planning to attend the summit must be represented by a youth organization, with a chaperone for every ten youth participating. New Women's Ministry - Noon - Pastor Mary Williams of In His Love Church and Ministries welcomes Eva Rose, SE North Area President of Aglow International SE North Florida, as the distinguished guest speaker at this month's Women's Group meeting. Boat Smart - Safe Boating Class - Port St. Lucie Power Squadron is offering a two session Boat Smart Safe Boating Course on Saturday, March 15, from 9am - 4pm and Sunday, March 16, from 2-4pm at First Presbyterian Church of Port St. Lucie, 2240 SE Walton Rd., Port St. Lucie. The course will cover basic seamanship, navigational aids, knot tying, and much more. Passing grades may lower insurance premiums and students completing the course will meet the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's boat license requirements. Tuition is free and $35.00 covers course materials; 2nd family member is only $15.00 for the exam. All students under 18 that pass the course will be reimbursed through a teen scholarship.
