THE FUR SEASONS RESORT FOR PETS CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY BY RAISING $2,000.00 FOR DOGS AND CATS FOREVER, INC.

(Stuart, Florida) If it's happening at the Fur Seasons Resort for Pets, you know it's going to be a "fur-nominal" success! The Fur Seasons celebrated its first anniversary in five star fashion featuring the resort's first ever Mutt Derby. The event drew in more than 200-pet lovers throughout the Treasure Coast andraised anincredible $2,000.00 for Dogs and Cats Forever Incorporated. Dogs and Cats Forever Inc., is a no-kill non-profit agency that cares for homeless dogs and cats while agency staff members search for permanent and loving homes for each animal. "The celebration was our way of thanking the community for their continued support of the Fur Seasons Resort for Pets," said resort owner Drue Pollack. "This event was planned and executed flawlessly-and we are so proud to have raised such a large amount of money for this worthwhile organization."

Dozens of dogs competed in the resort's first ever Mutt Derby, while others took part in several educational events focusing on pet first aid anddog training. The silent auction featuring more than 30 amazing gifts donated by local companies was a huge hit. From designer dog beds to a one year supply of heart worm protection, it was like Christmas in June for auction bidders.

"We already have a vision for our 2 nd anniversary party," said Pollack. "When you have an event that brings in so many happy pet owners and benefits so many good animals that need loving homes, you can't help it but to look forward and work harder to make it happen all over again."
