Two weekends only, the hit off-Broadway comedy "Greater Tuna" will be performed at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts on Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, beginning Saturday, July 19 at 8:00 p.m.
Two versatile actors, Andrew Farmer and Jacob Warren portray a day in the life of Tuna, the third - smallest town in Texas, where Lions Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. A testament to its charm: It's been the most - produced show in the United States and has even had command performances at the White House. Now you can see how two performers, twenty characters and over 142 costume and accessory changes all add up to lots of laugh - out - loud laughter. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are make this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna, Texas - men, women, children, and animals.
"Greater Tuna," by Jason Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard; produced and directed by Richard Valentine, Artistic Director for InterACT Studio, Inc. "We presented the show at the end of last summer to full houses and the show was so much fun and so successful that we wanted to bring it back this summer," Valentine commented.
