INDIANTOWN, Florida/ February 27, 2008 - Ann Jones, former Director of Volunteers for Hospice of Martin County, and Director of the Hospice Foundation, has volunteered to chair the upcoming Mad Hatter's Tea Party & Fashion Show to benefit the American Red Cross Martin County Chapter. "We are extremely excited to have Ann chair this first of its kind event for the Red Cross," said Mary Sawyer, Executive Director, American Red Cross Martin County Chapter. The Tea Party, sponsored by
John and Donna Haas, will take place on Thursday, March 20, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Miles Grant Country Club, 5101 SE Miles Grant Road, Stuart, Florida 34997. Tickets are $25.00 per person. There will be an auction, raffle and prizes for hats, as well as a fashion show featuring the latest fashions by the Shoppes at Harbor Bay Plaza.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for many of my former associates and contacts to take part in what will undoubtedly become THE springtime event of the social season," said Jones. "The tea and fashion show will allow our local ladies to have a lot of fun while helping the American Red Cross raise funds to provide help when help is needed in our community," added Jones.
