Bank gives $61,000 to Habitat for Humanity
First Bank and Trust of Indiantown has made a $61,000 contribution to Habitat for Humanity of Martin County to build new homes in the Booker Park subdivision in Indiantown.
First Bank and Trust has made the donation as a tax credit sponsor through Florida's Community Contribution Tax Credit program, an incentive that encourages businesses like First Bank and Trust of Indiantown to donate much needed dollars and volunteer hours toward community development and low-income housing programs.
"Affordable housing is an important priority, especially in areas like Indiantown where good, safe housing is hard to find," said J.D. St. Clergy, president for First Bank and Trust of Indiantown. "We're proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity to help provide housing residents in this community can afford and take pride in."
