Volleyball Clinic!

Sunrise Volleyball Academy is excited to host a volleyball clinic directed by Rita Crockett on January 6 th at Treasure Coast High School in Port St. Lucie. The clinic will run from 10:00 to 3:30. The fee for the camp is $105 which includes 5 hours of training, Autographed picture of Rita Crockett, a camp T-shirt, and bag lunch. The camp is limited by space to the first 40 athletes. Forms for the camp are in the handout section of the Sunrise Volleyball Academy web site: www.sunrisevolleyballacademy.com. To reserve a spot contact Ron Jacobs at rkj2@comcast.net. Payment is due 7 days from reservation or your spot will be re-opened.

Rita "The Rocket" Buck-Crockett has National and International experience as a player and a coach. She was a member of the 1980 and 1984 U.S. Olympic Volleyball teams with the 1984 team winning the silver medal. Crockett was also considered one of the best all-around volleyball players in the world. A 1984 issue of Sports Illustrated touted her as the world's best athlete and nicknamed her "The Rocket," because of her 42-inch vertical leap and her 100 mile-per-hour kills. In 1981, she was one of six players selected to the All-World Team. She has coached and played in the U.S., Japan, Italy and Switzerland over the last 17 years.
