The longest drive

Day 1 - We are on the first leg of our own " Amazing Race". My Uncle, my cousin, my mom and myself have packed enough stuff for 12 days of warm weather and cold weather, and loaded up the back of the tacoma. Our first road block is to stay awake for thirty hours and drive to Hill City, SD. It's 4pm, we've been on the road for 8 hours. And believe it or not, we're only 1/5th of the way there.

The journey began early this morning as we drove along the Florida Turnpike through the dense,thick smoke of what seemed to be a massive 'vewildfire. Turns out, it was only early morning haze. We're not used to getting up so early in the morning.

We're traveling in style. We've got wireless internet in the car, A dvd player, PlayStation Portable, and 4 cell phones.For old time sake, we brought along a couple of old paper road maps.

By this time tomorrow, we should be exploring Mt. Rushmore.

It looks as you guys are really having a great time, wish I was there. PS, tell Holly to drink some WATER. It will do her some good. You guys be safe and I cant wait until the next day comes oout. See you guy's when you get home.

HEY! Finally figured out how to get to you.......Keep us posted with all the stuff you guys are doing......keep on keepin' (that's an Uncle Charlie statement..)..best part of picture is HAIRCUT!!!
