GPS for Mariners Program by Coast Guard Auxiliary

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS Flotilla 59 of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary will present "GPS for Mariners," a one-day seminar on using Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation in the recreational marine environment. Topics covered include the structure and concept of the GPS system, types of navigation units available, basic receiver unit operation and navigation techniques. Regular cost for the program is $50, but a $5 discount will be given for those who bring 5 non-perishable food items suitable for a Thanksgiving dinner. All food donated will go to Harvest Food Bank for their free Thanksgiving dinner program for families in need. Plan on spending a full day, which will include time for a lunch break.
