JBHS TO HOST REGIONAL MARCHING BAND MUSIC FESTIVAL

On Saturday, November 7, Jensen Beach High School will host the Florida Bandmasters Association District Music Performance Assessment. Thirteen area high school marching bands from Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Highlands, Glades, and Okeechobee Counties will perform their music shows at the JBHS stadium located at 2875 NW Goldenrod Rd. in Jensen Beach. Each band will be assessed in the areas of music, marching, and general effect by a panel of professional adjudicators.

"We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to host this event." said JBHS Director of Bands Thomas Dougherty. "We are looking forward to hosting this event, and we hope that the local community will come out and enjoy some great entertainment and support the kids."

The event will begin at 3:00 PM and continue through the evening. Admission is $5.
