Effective February 2009, the College Board has changed its policy regarding score reporting. Students will have the option to choose which scores are sent to colleges and universities by selecting the SAT test dates they feel best represent their abilities. This optional score-reporting feature may be used retroactively by students who have taken tests prior to the policy launch or those who register for the SAT after launch. Scores from an entire SAT will be sent-scores of individual sections from different sittings cannot be selected independently.
As in the past, students may opt to have all of their scores reported. Colleges and universities set their own score reporting policies, which may include sending all scores.
