Tiffany and Skipper's Love Story
Tiffany, an 8 year old Standard Poodle, is a dog who knows that she is beautiful.
Her beauty is not skin deep. She is a working therapy dog who loves children and volunteers many hours of her time listening to them read. Tiffany is also an agile champion who is able to fly through the A-frames and jumps in rapid time. Even when she shows her athletic side, she is always careful not to let a hair be out of place. Tiffany was married before to a dog that would rather hang out with the biker dogs rather than spend time with her and their children.
One time Tiffany was listening to a student read, a "gentledog" of distinction was also. Their eyes met across the room. Tiffany demurely cocked her head. The "gentledog" was Skipper, an 11- year old, of Beagle and Jack Russell ancestry, who had started his life as an abandoned puppy at the animal shelter. He was fortunate enough to be adopted by a loving person and now, is a working therapy dog. Skipper was divorced also, looking for a young and beautiful companion to paw around with. Skipper quickly succumbed to Tiffany's beauty and charms. The two canines committed to each other after one night together. Since they are both responsible dogs, they have maturely taken measures so that they will not have any litters.
Judy Psencik, Marketing Director, at Summerville at Jensen Beach, stated "we were very happy to sponsor the fundraiser for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast."
The dog wedding was held in the beautiful courtyard at Summerville and a Champagne reception was held afterwards, with human and dog wedding cakes and hors d'oeuvres for all.
