SANTA ARRIVED IN STYLE AT AMERICAN LEGION POST 126
Contributed by: Charlotte Bott on 12/16/2007

The annual American Legion Post 126 Christmas Party for the children of Military families and Veterans as well as needy children in Martin County took place Saturday the 15th of December and was a huge success! The children enjoyed
donated pizza from the Jensen Beach Papa John's and juice donated by Publix and hot dogs. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived right on time along with his Elves on a Jensen Beach fire truck! Santa played host to about sixty-five children who received gifts especially chosen for each child. The younger children got to sit on Santa's lap. There were hand knitted hats made and donated by Chelsea Mays from Villa Assumpta which looked so cute on the children. The members of the American Legion Post 126 organized and ran this wonderful event. The presents were purchased with donated money and Post 126 is grateful to all who made this wonderful community event successful.
