New to the market retailers come to the Treasure Coast area
JENSEN BEACH, FL (July 14, 2008) - Treasure Coast Square, the premier retail destination in Jensen Beach, will welcome a new 25,000 square foot open-air promenade addition at its mall entrance near Borders Books, Music & Café. When completed during August 2008, new to the market stores such as Christopher & Banks and CJ Banks will bring a new appeal to the shopping destination, with Ann Taylor Loft to join the retail mix in early Fall 2008.
The pedestrian-friendly, open-air promenade will provide shoppers with a resort-like feel with colors and textures indigenous to the mall's coastal Florida location. Brick pavers, simulated cocina stone elements and landscaping, featuring local plants and flowers, beautify the area and make it more appealing as the perfect gathering space for shoppers. The addition features three focal points-a sloped metal roof, a tower and a distinctive, scooped canopy that catches light to create a more dramatic entry.
"The expansion will enhance our retail offerings so our customers have even more choices," said June Britt, mall manager, Treasure Coast Square. "This addition will bring a new sense of style to the mall, making Treasure Coast Square an even better place to shop, meet and enjoy friends and family."
Christopher & Banks is a women's apparel retailer serving the baby boomer woman who has a strong desire for style, fit and value. Serving misses sizes 4 to 16, Christopher & Banks prides itself on versatile styles and exceptional, personalized customer service. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, Christopher & Banks has 546 store locations, with its newest location in Jensen Beach to be the furthest south on the east coast.
CJ Banks is the ultimate shopping experience for plus size women 14W and up. The retailer combines selection, comfort and quality clothing, designed in coordinating selections that are classic, casual and colorful. CJ Banks, which opened its first store in the fall of 2000, now operates 256 stores nationwide, with Jensen Beach home to the fifth location in Florida.
The ever popular Ann Taylor Loft will join Treasure Coast Square, offering updated classics that are feminine, stylish and versatile to easily transcend all aspects of a woman's lifestyle. The retailer provides a sophisticated and redefined style for the woman who always wants to look appropriate in classic, updated fashion. Competing in the "upper moderate" price category, Ann Taylor Loft has 483 store locations nationwide.
These store additions in the open-air promenade complement Treasure Coast Square's recently upgraded retail mix, which brought Coach, Cache and White House/Black Market to the mall's indoor shopping experience within the last year.
