A HEART-TO-HEART FOR WORK-AT-HOME MOMS

I want to share this message will all stay at home moms, work at homes and other moms who are looking for work.I hope you are blessed and encouraged by the message.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Being a mom -period- is challenging in itself. Even though more women are staying at home/working from home many people don't look at us as professionals or for what we are truly worth.Any financial situation can bring pressures from all sides, leaving you a feeling of guiltbecause no one reallysees "all" that you do when they are not around. It is hard either way -and rewarding at the same time. We can be the most dedicated and hard working people - if others would just give us a chance. At the same time, try not to wait until the family is in a really tough spot. It's better to do a little something (if and when you can).

Try to look at what skills you already have. What can you already do without spending money? Cook? Drive? Clean? Perform Errands? Before I was able to really grasp and hold onto what I am doing now - I found some family, friends and friends of the family, church folk that were willing to pay for help around the house. Ask other ladies at church if they need a break now and then with their own kids (if you are comfortable with that). The thing is, that we need to have breaks ourselves. The stresses of being a mom/work-at-home mom are more than what others think.

As work-at-home moms/moms - we are very limited as to what we can do, when we can do it and how we can do it. We are the ones that upkeep the house, feed the people in it, do the errands, care for the little ones and "maybe" eventually have a minute to care for ourselves. I've had a growing desire to do something that will create real opportunities for moms here in my area and eventually, outside the area. Only God knows how far I will get. There are real work at home jobs (independent contactor, freelance, etc.) - that are not scams. I put a few together on my website at: tcwahmnetwork.com - please check into them, as I have not reviewed them recently. From my experience I did receive a few leads that interested me.

Yes, people do (I feel) discriminate against moms at times. But, PLEASE BE ENCOURAGED. God answered my prayer about working from home (more than once). I was able to do cleaning for some family members, hair styling for family and friends, office assistant work from home witha local real estate investor and now - God is allowing me to use my skills to help other moms and contributing to the positive voices with ourcommunity. It's been a long, hard, tiring and sometimes even discouraging road - BUT I DIDN'T GIVE UP. I may have felt like it, but my heart - and my hope wouldn't let me. In the meantime, I tried a few night jobs and temporary jobs to help our family get by.

NO IT'S NOT EASY BEING US. But, you can do it. YOU WILL MAKE IT. Your family will survive. God will send blessings your way and people to help you whoaren't looking for something in return.

To all the moms/work at home moms/stay at home momswho are struggling - You are not alone. May we all pray for one another and encourage each other as much as we can.

BE BLESSED & BE ENCOURAGED.

With Much Love For Ya!
