Many years ago when I purchased my first Honda automobile I had no idea there would be 13 more to come. At the time I was tired of the quality glitches I was experiencing with the cars I had owned and I wanted something reliable. Gas mileage wasn't that important in those days because gas was under a dollar a gallon. My first Honda was a Civic and after driving it for many months I kept waiting for the first shoe to drop. But it ran trouble free for nearly 2 years. Being a real car buff I wanted a new Honda and next came an Accord. Through the years its been Accords, Civics, and an Acrua thrown in for good measure. At one point the entire family was driving Hondas. In fact our family portrait mom, dad, daughter,my wife and myself with all our Hondas hangs in the halls or the Honda plant in Marysville Ohio. Recently I purchased a 2006 Civic. The new design is really radical and it looks more like a concept car that the Civics of old. Gas mileage is important now and 40 miles to the gallon really mean something to me especially when I was writing my check to purchase this one. In real would driving I have experienced 37.8 MPG to date, so with $3.00 a gallon prices this keeps an extra smile on my face. My name is Rich Ciarlariello and I'm an avid car enthusiast and after owning a total of 40 cars in my lifetime Hondas are the best in my opinion. Next week I head to Indianapolis to see the Indianapolis 500. Interestingly enough all the race cars are using Honda engines.
