To work as an armed security officer in the State of Florida, you must possess the Class G Armed Security Officer's License. To obtain this license you must complete a 28 hour training course and qualify with your firearm.

The Class G License training offered by D & R Training and Consulting, Inc. is designed to meet and exceed the standards established by the state. We strive to ensure each participant is not only competent with the weapon he or she has chosen to carry, but is also comfortable with that weapon to the degree necessary to ensure its proper and efficient application.We will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively serve in the capacity of an armed security professional.
