Loggerhead Marinelife Center Offers Affordable Funfilled Family Activities This Summer

Popular Turtle Walks SOLD OUT

After record setting attendance numbers this past winter and spring season, over 225,000 visitors, and with the popular turtle walks sold out for the season; Loggerhead Marinelife Center is not slowing down and expects to top attendance numbers this summer as well. Admission to the Center is free and is the perfect summer destination for families looking for affordable fun!

Daily activities at the Center include sea turtle viewing, aquarium viewing, tiny tot play area, and educational marine themed activities including daily story time.

Several educational activities are also available at a very reasonable price that offers a wide variety of fun and educational information on marine life.

Calendar of LMC Summer Activities:

Story Time - on-going
Monday thru Thursday 10:30 am; Friday 10:30 am and 3 pm and Saturday 11:30 am
Marine themed stories told daily. Story time is free; donations accepted.

Sea Shells
Monday, June 30, 2008 10:30 am

Children will learn about the creatures who live in these hard "places." This program is for 3-5 year olds, and is part of the Turtle Tots program. $4 per child for members and $6 for non-members.

Beach Birds
Monday, August 25, 10 am

Find out which birds like to hang out at the beach! Part of the Turtle Tots series for children 3 - 5 years old. $4 per child for members and $6 for non-members.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a nonprofit organization committed to the conservation of marine life through public education, research, and rehabilitation with a focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles.
