The Turtlefest was held on March 24, 2007 at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach in the warm winds under a bright blue sky. This fantastic family event was full of fun, food, activities and entertainment. Folks from all over came out in support of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and bought those adorable pirate sea turtle T-shirts and hand strung necklaces from the sea turtle sisters Addison and Alexandra.
The girls are encouraged by the awesome support and enthusiastic about new ideas for raising funds for the fine folks at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach who are dedicated to preserving the sea ecosystem and those threatened sea turtles.
The girls' next event might be the Walk for Wildlife to be held April 14, 2007 at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach if they can find a sponsor.
