Sea Creatures Live! at the Town of Jupiter Community Center
The Town of Jupiter Community Center is hosting the "Sea Creatures Live!" traveling Kiosk from August 8, 2007 until October 31, 2007. You can view this exhibit at the Town of Juptier Community Center located at 200 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. The Kiosk is located in the main waiting room to the left of the information desk. Viewing hours are durring the Community Center's regular hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8am to 10pm, Saturdays 8am to 5pm, and closed on Sundays. Sea Creatures Live!
Perry Institute for Marine Science(PIMS) poudly presents the "Sea Creatures Live!" Traveling Kiosk. This is a one-of-a-kind exhibit from PIMS that features videos and a library of pictures which protray the reseach and wonder of the John H. Perry, Jr. Caribbean Reserch Center at Lee Stocking Island in the Exuma, Bahamas. The development and fabrication of the "Sea Creatures Live!" Kiosk was funded by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation and the Norcross Wildlife Foundation.
The exhibit features an intrigueing slideshow composed of videos and photos taken by researchers and staff on and around Lee Stocking Island. These photographs include exclussive underwater stills of sea life at its best as well as research above and below sea level in our state-of-the-art lab facilities and the pristine reefs that surround Lee Stocking Island.
