The River Center is a non profit Museum and Aquarium located in Jupiter, Florida. We created this blog to keep everyone updated on our past events and to offer thanks to those who continue to support us and make our events possible! River Center 1st Birthday Celebration!

On Saturday, August 22, the River Center, Jupiter's local not for profit aquarium and educational outreach facility, hosted a Birthday Party in honor of its 1st year in the community! The celebration was a family event that included Arts n' Craft glitter animals, a Bounce House, Games, and a Touch Tank for the kids. A raffle of over 30 items was heldthat included Gift Certificates to local Restaurants, Spas, and Gyms, as well as local Art work, Fishing Charters,and T-Shirts. At noon the cake, contributed by the Krasker family, was cut and served and all the guests sang "Happy Birthday" to the River Center.

The River Center staff would like to say thank you to everyone that came and helped make this event such a fun success! We hope that support for the River Center will continue to grow during our 2nd year in the community as we work to offer even more fun, educational, and family activities!

Story Time - every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m.
Kids Yoga - 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 2:30 p.m.
Utterly Otterly Play - Story Time, Touch Tank, Arts n' Crafts the 2nd and 4th Thursday of ever month at 2:30 p.m.
Coastal Cleanup - Saturday, September 19 from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Slumber Party - Kids ages 9-14, Saturday September 19 at 6 p.m. to Sunday September 20 at 9 a.m.
Mini Movie Day - Tuesday, September 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Friends of the Loxahatchee Meeting - 1st Friday of every month from 12 p.m. - 1p.m., includes guest speaker and light lunch
