What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT COMING TO MOLLY'S HOUSE STUART, FL - Molly's House is pleased to present a Photography Exhibit by Mr. Terry Philhower. Never before shown in this area, Terry's capturing themes might include three dresses blowing in a breezy fall landscape, or an elderly woman hand-washing clothing with a washboard in a tub surrounded by small fancifully colored Bahamian homes. Molly's House, Inc is pleased to present a unique opportunity to view and purchase these remarkable photographic prints. Meet Terry Philhower at the Exhibition's Grand Opening, Sunday, May 18, 2008, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. The Exhibition will run from May 18 to through June at Molly's House, 430 SE Osceola Street, Stuart, FL 34994. Viewing Hours are Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment. Terry Philhower grew up in New Jersey, where a friend introduced him to photography. He enjoyed capturing various images on film (at a time when it still was film) and developed and exposed them by hand . After many years of photography for pleasure, he was asked to display his work in a Florida Gallery. The show was a success but Terry enjoyed capturing images at his own pace which slowed until the advent of digital photography. This was a turning point for Mr. Philhower. Digital "Film" allowed total control of not only photography, but printing as well. Transferring from film to digital, Terry saw the limits of film fall to the wayside as he traded film rolls for memory cards and color negatives for photo printers. His camera of preference is the Canon 5D, 12.8 megapixels and the printer of choice is an Epson 2200. The computer program most frequently used is Adobe Photoshop and the printing program preferred is a RIP program, Image Print, made by Color Byte Software. Many filters are used as well. Molly's House is pleased to have Mr. Philhower as our first Exhibitor in a series of shows that are planned for the coming year. No reservations are necessary for the Exhibition Grand Opening. Molly's House is a community based temporary homelike residence that is committed to providing a compassionate, supportive environment to the families and patients receiving healthcare at a medical facility on the Treasure Coast.
