Plant Propagation
Enjoy those balmy summer evenings propagating LOTS of plants, and you take home what you grow. Learn by doing about seeds, cuttings, air layers, grafting, budding, bulbs, divisions, bulbils, rhizomes, and more. This is our most sociable, hands-on, outdoor, in-the-plant-nursery class with no prerequisites other than high school graduation. This green adventure is appropriate for home gardeners who have been out of school a few decades. Not a lecture class! The teacher demonstrates then you get growin'. All equipment and materials are supplied. Instructor: George Rogers. Tues./Thurs. evenings for six weeks, 6-9:45 pm, 5/13-6/17. Fee: Approx. $200. Register as non-degree-seeking at any PBCC campus with two pieces of ID to prove FL residency, or register on-line at www.pbcc.edu. Course number PLS2220. Ref. number 106519. For information call Dr. Rogers 561-207-5052 or, better, e-mail rogersg@pbcc.edu.
