Young Professionals of North Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce were pleased to have Rob Rabenecker, General Manager of Roger Dean Stadium, as the guest speaker at their most recent YP "Unplugged" Luncheon Series.
Hosted at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott, many in attendance were eager to take advantage of their chance to sit down with Rob Rabenecker and ask questions firsthand about business, sports, industry tips and general advice. The aim of this luncheon, as well as all other YP "Unplugged" Luncheons, is to provide an informal and uncensored platform for up and coming young professionals to get in front of local business leaders and learn the tricks of the trade from these seasoned vets.
Not only did Rob provide powerful advice by sharing his experiences and lessons learned throughout his career, but he also connected on a personal, informal level with the young professionals by sharing hilarious stories of various occurrences in his career over the years.
Young Professionals also encouraged attendees to bring a toy to be donated for their Holiday Toy Drive Project. Organized by the YP Community Outreach Committee, YPs are collecting toys to bring to local families in need to brighten their holiday season.
Business contacts were made on all levels at this event. While Young Professionals networked and shared ideas for future business exchanges with each other, many attendees were also interested to learn that Roger Dean Stadium is more than just a stadium. While we all love it for spring training and minor league baseball games, many were excited to hear that the stadium could also host company and private functions!
