Molly's House Annual Meeting welcomes New Board Members

STUART, FL - Molly's House Board of Directors welcomed three new board members during their annual meeting, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Piper's Landing Golf Club.

The evening began with cocktails followed by a dinner of Filet Migon and stuffed shrimp beautifully displayed with colorful vegetables. An outrageous Chocolate Lava Cake concluded the meal. The festivities included a recap of 2007 but most importantly, looking to the future of Molly's House and it significant value to the community.

Michael P. McGee, CTFA, Senior Vice President/City President - Martin County Wachovia Bank, N.A joins the board for a three year term. Since 2004, McGee has been with Wachovia in several positions. Besides his board role with Molly's House, he also serves on the Indian River Estate Planning Council, Martin County Economic Council and Children's Home Society. "We are fortunate to have someone of Mike's stature in the community take an active role in the future of Molly's House", stated Tim Kimes, President.

William (Bill) Hughes, CPA is an established leader in health care management. He is the Administer for Women's Health Specialists, Jensen Beach. His civic experience includes forming the Treasure Coast Chapter of the Medical Group Manager's Association, former board member of the Wiregrass Medical Group Manager's Association, served on Alabama's CPA Society fifteen member task force for CPA's In Industry, and is a member of the Treasure Coast, Florida, and National Medical Group Manager's Association. "Bill has the ability to see the big picture and provide workable solutions that will help keep Molly's Vision alive for those in need", referenced Tim Kimes, President.

Dennis LaBarbera, is a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. His office opened in 2001 with over 500 individual investors and business owners as clients of Edward Jones. Dennis is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist, accredited by the College of Financial Planning. He serves on the Board of the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber and is an affiliate member of the Jupiter, Tequesta, Hobe Sound Board of Realtors. "Dennis has a background in sales and marketing that will enhance the outreach programs of Molly's House", stated Tim Kimes, President.

These three new board members join existing board members: Debby Sharkey - Paragon Air Conditioning; Timothy Kimes - Martin Nursing & Restorative Care; Steve Erlanger - Hometown News; Cynthia Pingolt - Martin Memorial Health Systems; Jules Armellini - Armellini Express Lines; Mark Cocorullo - Martin Memorial Hospital and Louise Murtaugh, Executive Director. Mr. Cal Shank is a Board Member Emeritus.

"Molly's House is fortunate to have all these community minded individuals serving the needs of families in our community. Our mission is to enhance our programs and services to those families in need. With these individuals leadership, Molly's House will be here for years to come", stated Kimes.

Molly's House is a community based temporary homelike residence that is committed to providing a compassionate, supportive environment to the families and patients receiving healthcare at a medical facility on the Treasure Coast.
