IF YOU CAN SMILE AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING, OR TRYING TO DO, THEN, SURELY, YOU HAVE BEEN OR WILL SOON BE ON 'PENNY'S CAMERA'!
PENNY SHELTZ HAS TRAVELLED THE WORLD, GIVEN HER SERVICES AND EXPERTISE AS A NURSE AND MORE. NOW, PENNY CONTINUES HER LIFE OF SERVICE TO OTHERS.
WITHOUT COMPENSATION, PENNY IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE, ONE SMILE AT A TIME!
AS FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF E-QUALITY OF LIFE FOUNDATION, I HAVE HAD THE GOOD FORTUNE OF PENNY'S PASSION----NOW, I'D LIKE TO 'FOCUS' ON, AND THANK PENNY SHELTZ FOR HER COMPASSION, AND HELP.
HERE'S HER STORY:
"Wally and I met on a blind date in college at Gaineville and married in 1963. We just celebrated our 46th anniversary! We have lived in Palm Beach Country since 1964. Together, we raised 2 children (and a monkey for 20 years!)
I was a nurse and x-ray technician for many years, taking photos of peoples insides.
Years later, Wally and I bought the 'Juno Beach Fishing Pier'. Through decades of tireless work, we learned how hard it was to keep a business going.
After we retired, we pursued our love of travelling , visiting more than 100 countries. I loved taking pictures of places around the world, and soon became a skilled and avid photographer!
After attending many events in my local community each week, I put my untapped talent to use by taking photos of struggling businesses and charities that need some free publicity.
What is my paycheck? I love getting volunteer Organizations in the papers that deserve free publicity for the good work they do."
I love informing the public of upcoming artists and musicians fun events that they might otherwise miss out on. I have a very rewarding hobby!"
Hobby? I think not!
Penny covers an average of 10 events a week and has had more photos and articles in the papers than anyone in Palm Beach County, paid or otherwise! Not only does she snap the picture, spend hours working on the photos, cropping, resizing, contrasting and matching names to faces, but Penny follows through by taking notes during the speeches, acquiring information for the article to be submitted with the photos and names.
Thank you, Penny Sheltz! Your compassion for the underdog is heartfelt, and your talent and professionalism is inspiring!
You Go Girl!
