"We are pleased to announce that the Business & Professional Women/Jupiter Organization (BPW/Jupiter) is now acceptingapplications for two $500 academic scholarships to be awarded to Jupiter/Tequesta/Hobe Sound/Juno Beach residents. One scholarship will be awarded to a female between the ages of 17-32 years: the other to a female between the ages of 33-62 years. Candidates are evaluated based on individual need, community involvement and academic standing. Completed applications with all pertinent information are due by May 1, 2008. We will review the applications and candidates will be notified if an interview is required.

BPW 's objectives are as follows:

*To elevate the standards for women in business and professions.
*To promote the interests of business and professional women.
*To bring about a spirit of cooperation among business and professional women of the United States.
*To extend opportunities to business and professional women through education.
