The newly established $1,000 Scholarship Award was presented to Bianca Murphy at the Jupiter Business and Professional Women's meeting held at Mangrove Bay Monday, June 23, 2008. Our winner aspires to be a veterinarian in the South Florida area. Bianca, a Jupiter resident and graduate of Jupiter Community High School, is a competitive swimmer at FAU, a Florida Academic Scholars' award student since 2005, works at the Central Animal Hospital, interns at the Animal Health Clinic, and interns at The Scripps Research Institute in Jupiter. Bianca is a third year student at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and is majoring in Biology.
