WHAT: This one-day lecture, conducted by the YES Institute, will discuss cultural definitions, myths, stereotypes of gender and orientation, and cutting edge research in biological and social sciences that challenge binary notions of gender.

DESCRIPTION: FAU Jupiter's Lifelong Learning Society will host a lecture conducted by Joseph Zolobczuk, Director of Education at the YES Institute, and Sabrine Johnston, a YES volunteer, on gender and orientation. The mission of the Institute is to prevent suicide and ensure the healthy development of all youth through powerful communication and education on gender and orientation.
