The Great Frame Up is preparing to exhibit its Artists of the Month artwork for February. Jupiter Elementary School's art teacher, Elizabeth Semple, submitted five pieces, showcasing animals done in tempera. The Great Frame Up donated matting for all and chose one to frame. The Artist of the Month Program was established in order to promote the talent of our children and identify that art in the educational system plays a crucial part in fostering critical thinking. The Jupiter Elementary Artists of the Month pieces will be displayed in The Great Frame Up's store window through March 14 for the community to stop by and see what these students have accomplished.

I am so proud of the courage my students showed in learning composition and experimenting with various treatments. And thank you so much to MB Hague of The Great Frame Up for her warmth and generosity in promoting our young artists. --Elizabeth Semple, Art Teacher, Jupiter Elementary
