Nathalie was inspired by her world travels and has paintings exhibited in many museums in the Eastern United States and France. They are also included in private and corporate collections. She has settled in Tequesta and is inspired by the Loxahatchee River and loves the over-growth and hanging moss that makes the scenes mystical. "Just watching the wading birds looking for food is so beautiful and could be like it was 100 years ago," Nathalie said.
Nathalie was inspired by Clyde Butcher's black and white photographs that explore his personal relationship with the environment as the beauty and depth of his work draw the viewers into a relationship with nature as does Nathalie's paintings.
Nathalie takes a canoe or kayak up the river near Jonathan Dickenson, sketches, takes photos, then goes back to her Tequesta home and paints wonderful works of art. Her paintings will be on display and for sale for 2 months at the Juno Beach Town Hall, so stop by and enjoy the way she captures nature and our local Florida paradise.
