Friends of Jupiter Beach May Cleanup

The Friends of Jupiter Beach had its fifth beach cleanup of the year, Saturday May 3rd at Ocean Cay Park, on Marcinski Road..
The cleanup and breakfast was sponsored by Ocean Magic Surf Shop at Jupiter Square, 103 S. US Hwy 1.(744-8925)
Volunteers roaming the beach collected trash which was separated for recycling. After breakfast, volunteers won prizes with raffle tickets.
County Comissioner Karen Marcus spoke at the breakfast and praised the volunteers for their good work. She also reviewed the county's acquisitions of valuable land and beaches for the publics enjoyment.
The next Jupiter Beach cleanup will be Saturday June 7.
