Dr. Alan Jacobson held a seminar in Jupiter on the latest in cosmetic filler technology Wednesday May 7. The evening included wine, Hors d' oeuvres and prize giveaways.

One of the choices discussed was Artefill, which is the first and only FDA- approved non-resorbable aesthetic injectable dermal filler for the correction of facial wrinkles, like smile lines. Artefill is not absorbed by the body and provides a permanent support structure for the skin.

For over 25 years Dr. Jacobson has been promoting minimallly invasive cosmetic rejuvenation and reconstruction.He believes that injectables restore volume and diminish wrinkling. He uses small incisions, rapid healing, minimal downtime and many times uses no general anesthesia.

Dr. Jacobson uses Botox for reducing wrinkling and rebalance fallen facial segments but it is not successful on some people and does not last, so he continues to look for more lasting fillers with better results..
Dr. Jacobson also uses Laser, IPL, RF and more than 25 technologies. Each technology is unique unto itself. Each are claimed to resurface skin, reduce wrinkling, remove sun damage and tighten skin.

Dr. Jacobson does quite a variety of procedures including necklifts, "S" lifts for neck and jowls, "J" lifts for sagging upper and lower neck and jowls, cheek lifts with implants, RF lid surgery for eye lid bags and hooding without the use of a scalpel. He also does lipo that melts fat and tightens skin on sagging arms, stomach pouches, bulging axilla and bra strap areas.

He uses Fraxel laser with topical anestheia to rejuvenate all body parts, face, neck, chest, arms and hands.
