NOBLES TO HOST FIRST ANNUAL "GUNS AND HOSES" FUNDRAISER TO HONOR LOCAL FIREMEN, POLICE AND CITY EMPLOYEES
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 14, 2008) -- To honor the unsung heroes of our local community, Nobles, the popular bar located at 213 Clematis Street in Downtown West Palm Beach, will host the first annual "Guns and Hoses" fundraiser for local firefighters, police and city employees from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 16.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature half-price drinks for firemen, police and city employees with a valid I.D. Proceeds will benefit the Fraternal Order of Firefighters and the Slain Officers Survivors Fund. "Guns and Hoses" also will kick-off Nobles' new drink specials for the fundraiser's honorees.
"We want to be a catalyst for community support of local firemen, police and city employees," said Bill Watson of Big Time Restaurant Group. "To express our appreciation for their hard work, we want to initiate this annual event and give them a spot to call their own."
