WHAT: Pistache's Bastille Day Celebration
Pistache, the authentic Parisian Bistro located in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach, will honor Bastille Day in true French style. Celebrated annually on July 14, the French national holiday commemorates the storming of the Bastille.
Festivities include:
· Traditional bistro games (cards and dice)
· Special prix fixe breakfast, lunch and dinner menus
· ABSINTHE degustation (
Absinthe is responsible for producing the
mysterious Absinthe effects*)
· Wine tastings
*Prior to becoming banned in Europe, Absinthe was so effective in inducing people to act freely that it was the
drink of choice for the world's greatest playboys and womanizers including the famous
Casanova and
Oscar Wilde as well as artists and authors including
Picasso,
van Gogh and
Hemingway who used
Absinthe for inspiration.
