LOGGERHEAD MARINELIFE CENTER FALL SCHEDULE OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) announces its fall educational programs and event schedule. LMC offers a variety of activities which include marine life education, crafts, hands-on discovery, and pirate adventures! As always, admission to the Center is free, special programs and events range in price from $3 to $10.
Daily activities at the Center include sea turtle viewing, aquarium viewing, tiny tot play area, sea turtle education film, educational marine themed activities including daily story time.

Marine themed stories told to children 10 and under.

Topic: "Wind Power"
Guest Speaker: Meteorologist Yuanlong Hu, Ph.D.

International Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day
Friday, September 19 10 am - 5 pm
Avast, me hearties! Bring young buccaneers to LMC for a day of swashbuckling fun. Enjoy pirate themed arts and crafts, a talk-like-a-pirate costume contest, plus a special pirate story, sea turtle viewing and marine themed activities.
Admissions is free; donations accepted.

Halloween Turtle Treat Walk
Friday, October 31 10 am - 5 pm
Wear your best costumes and join LMC ghosts, goblins and critters for a safe, family friendly day of Tricks 'n' Treats! Treats will be distributed at 10 am and 3:30 pm; story time and arts & crafts will be ongoing all day.
Admissions is free; donations accepted.
